Of all the instruments Daphne could want to learn to play, so far she has shown the most interest in the noisiest...drums and trumpets. When we were at the parade, I bought her a green plastic trumpet so she could be like Daddy. She was very proud when she figured out how to make it work.

Hm! I'm guessing she'll head more for the rock music than the jazz or blues... :)
Drummers are in **high** demand -- at least, based on the "musician wanted" ads in every city that I've lived in. Female drummers get additional bonus points.
And female drummers who can double on the trumpet? Spiffy to the max.
Oh: Great green trumpet. Now **I** need one... :)
