Winter blast is ending...predicted high temp for Thursday is 62.
Sadly, my nice daffodils have hung their heads low. I doubt if they'll recover. There is still some hope for the tulips though.

Why the Lazy Russian Horses Show?
Because one day Kev was singing "Sway," and if you know Kev, you know he is a notorious low-talker, so when he sang "like the lazy ocean hugs the shore," I thought he said "like a lazy Russian horses show," and it seemed like a good name for something. Sorta Sgt. Peppery. No offense to Russians or horses is intended.

I always get a kick out of Texan's response to temps in the 30's for a couple of nights. It was 8 and very windy here Saturday night. Yuck. Thank goodness I'm not in Chicago any more. It was -25 wind chill there over the weekend.
I was in Chicago last Thursday and Friday ... had to get gas Friday AM and I got one of those pumps that if you pulled it more than a smidge the thing cuts off. I was FREEZING! I just stayed to get $5 gas and then said screw it. Went someplace else later where I could put it on auto and get back in the car.
I have never lived there and I'm glad .... although Chicago is a very happening city. I would hate the cold along with all that wind.
