Yesterday, we took Daphne to the State Fair of Texas. She had some fun, but overall it was a pretty stressful outing for all of us. It was hot, it was crowded, Daphne was too short to go on the Fun Slide, and there were lots of tears. But she enjoyed her corndog, and feeding the goats and donkeys, and next year, she'll be tall enough for the Fun Slide (and old enough for the bird show!!!).

Yup- G loved the corn dog too! she wasn't so hip on touching the animals though. :( Maybe next year!
In my first read-through, I thought you said she enjoyed feeding the goats and monkeys -- and I thought, "How cool is that!!!"
But, donkeys are cool, too.
(More state fairs need to include monkeys in their petting zoos.)

I think you have to watch out for monkeys...they throw their poo.
