Happy Cold Front, everyone! Ah, sweet relief!
New song from the PPHPHB on Nowhere Radio (click link at right, then 'discography' then 'volume III') called Barbec's Diner, featuring Chickpchick on Clarinet, and the Pantaloons (or pantettes, or robes or capris or something) on back-up vocals. It is a happy muppet show type of song. Not sure if it's the final mix. Kev needs some distance from it for a while before decisions like that can be made. So check it out if you'd like. (That's me on the "Order-up" bell.)
Tonight we are going to see blues-rock man Chris Whitley at the Granada.
Enjoy this lovely day. We've even been given green level air quality today.

I'm becoming a strong supporter of the House Pants Band, especially when they sing about my favorite breakfast places.
That's some fine clarinet work by chickpchick! Will there be more guests? I support this too.
But please don't let the guests get out of hand. I would hate to see a House Pants effort devolve into: House Pant da return featuring Jay-Z, Little Criminal, Juvenile, Bum Shakey, Ca$h Money and Magnificent. Too many cooks spoil the stew, you know.
Thanks for the support, man!
Actually, Kev would love more guests, yourself included if you are so inclined. He wants us to be like those old Chicago Blues people who would gather on a Sunday at Muddy's house and play music in the back yard all day, stopping only for some barbeque.
I really like it! genius.

I can lend vocal stylings. That's about all I have to offer since I forgot how to play piano a long time ago. I can still play a little trombone, but I no longer own a trombone.
And if it's going to be like Sundays at Muddy's, I want to be Lighting Hopkins.
It is fun to be a guest!
