Vanity Plates

Today at my office building, I saw a vanity plate that said: I WL SLM. What the heck does that mean? I will slam? I will slum? I will sell 'em? I will Islam? What's the point of having a vanity plate if people can't figure out what it means?

Sore subject for me. I oft feel like an unwilling participant in some bad inside joke or pun.

Vanity plates torment me.

I'm too cheap; I just stick letters (from the hardware store "address/mailbox" section) on my bumper.

On my Honda Civic (before I sold it), had "E A D G." Very few people could figure it out.

I can't figure it out, but I just woke up and haven't had coffee yet.

Oh...mandolin/fiddle strings?

SPOILER ALERT -- if someone's trying to figure out "E A D G," don't read this comment!

Tara -- VERY close! You go the essence, so you win! ;)

I'm primarily a bass player (in all my bands I've been in, at least): standard tuning for the electric bass.

Guitarists should be able to figure it out -- the lowest four strings are the same, but an octave off -- but they never could. ;)

BTW -- your comment is timestamped for 5:12am. Do you **really** get up that early?

Blegh.
