Last week I heard they found a body in White Rock Lake, but I can not find any information or details of the story. Does anyone out there have any info?
Here's the link to the brief that the Morning News ran last week. http://www.dallasnews.com/s/dws/news/localnews/stories/051205dnmetbody.269079ee6.html
The guy was 33 and had no signs of trauma. The police didn't release his name because his next of kin hadn't been notified yet which is standard operating procedure. The truth is, they may not have even identified him, unless he was carrying a driver's license. And medical examiners usually won't rule on a cause of death until toxicology reports come back, which can take as long as three weeks. More than you wanted to know from a guy who's written more than his share of body found in lake stories.
Because one day Kev was singing "Sway," and if you know Kev, you know he is a notorious low-talker, so when he sang "like the lazy ocean hugs the shore," I thought he said "like a lazy Russian horses show," and it seemed like a good name for something. Sorta Sgt. Peppery. No offense to Russians or horses is intended.

I knew I could count on John for this.
It was me...sorry. Can't believe they think I'm 33 though.
